Its late night and the moon is positioned at just the right height that measures the distance I am going to jump for you
Leaping up every so freshly smoothly on that LL tip to feel them lips, yes those, those lips with just the right fit for my SF kiss
And Im trying not to slip on a starry night that needs not the be wished because the wish was already granted at first site
To en-light and force two distant high beamed lovers to cross one another no matter the flashing red lights facing the backs of each of em and at the right rate nice and slow lead by faith naturally occurring minor crash a love tap heart to heart
I’m too high
Too fly
but damn
I’m too shy to tell you
“I like you”
Yeah
it seems childish
but like a little kid
crushing on his first crush
I’m in a constant push and shove battle with my mind and my heart
should I tell you, should I not
its tearing me apart
The words are stuck in my throat
but I’m stuck
a float on cloud 9
cause damn girl
you’re so fine
inside and out
I want to get to know you inside and out.
Every inch of you inside and out
Box away the competition
so that you and I
can be the main event bout
However you and I are only a figment of my hopeless romantic mind
cause I’m just one of those guys
Trying not to stumble when I walk
saying something that should have stayed in my thoughts
call and hang up
call and hang up
stutter and mutter to myself
“I like you”
Cause I’m too shy
and I’m starting to get the picture that you may not feel the same way
my over analyzing mind is driving me insane
but it feels good
butterfly smiles
I hope become butterfly kisses
shooting stars and I’m wishing
fishing for a sign
so that you and I are no longer
a figment of my imagination
or fixed sensation
aint trying to gain penetration
the words “I like you”
are as secret as the free masons
just to hear you laugh and smile
to inside jokes and movie quotes
is what I’m chasing
pacing back and forth
protecting my heart like a fort
surround by stone
slowly falling apart
until there is only one stone left
standing alone
for you to pick up
and skip it across a pond of
what dreams can become
and when I get a chance
I’m going to say “Hi” and wave “Good bye”
not
“I like you”
because I’m just one those guys
Trying not to stumble when I walk
saying something that should have stayed in my thoughts
call and hang up
call and hang up
stutter and mutter to myself
“I like you”
or maybe I just did through a poem
and maybe you are here right now
as I whisper through a mic at poetry night
so that only I can hear myself for the 1,000th time
say
“I like you”
Can my poem meet your poem
Can my I wanna get to know you poem meet your I wonder when he’s going to ask me out poem
Can my poem be the best poem your poem ever recited
Can my poem be the sunny day your poem spoke about during stormy weather
Can my fuck her poem meet your fuck him poem so we can say fuck you together
Can my poem write your poem haikus
While your poem has a cadence to always get my poem’s undivided attention
Can your poem be the poem I always mention
Can my poem buy your poem vowels
Can my poem be the ellipsis in your poem’s poem because you got lost thinking about my poems
Can our poems trade poems and owe each other poems and say I owe you another poem because you gave me more poems

So can our poems meet
2 distant Poems on a 2 way street

Love
Not the love I already have for family and friends
I mean the love that only 2 people share without a care
The kind of love you get from just one stare or glare
The love I still have
I guess I have
But don’t receive
I’m talking about the love you just can’t believe
The love you don’t only hear
The love you can see, feel, and taste
The love you hate to leave for a second
Loves time you hate to waste
And did I mention the love you feel as your hearts caress
Beats chest to chest
Eyes that follow the side of her waist as it curves to her hips
And the taste of lips that compare to the greatest aged wine
And the crossed fingers that make love hand to hand
Pheromones become the perfect scent
This is the love that I must possess
Love is not the loneliness of restless nights
Love is a fight with cupid on your side
Love is long summer nights not a spring fling
The type of love that adapts with the changing seasons to make the coldest winters warm
A love that forms from a simple smile or gesture
That causes pressure some call butterflies
I once called them heebie geebies
Fuck it and fuck you if you think I’m cheesy
You just haven’t felt
Love
And YES!
I do have love for myself but it only last a few minutes
If you know what I mean
Like a team
There is no I in love
Just L for Love
O for Obviously
V for a little bit voluptuous
E for everlasting
I want love that is overcasting with vows of companionship
More than a relationship
Jointed at the hip
The love that makes me want to do back flips
Or at least attempt to try
A love that is free of limits
A love without physics
What goes up must come down
I want a love that can only go higher like the ribbon in the sky that reads I LOVE YOU!
Damn I miss that kind of love
The love that Beethoven could hear
The love Stevie saw when he wrote wonderful music
A love that is never abusing
Love
At least I got a taste of it
However I’m ready for seconds
And once again I will place my bets in
Because love is a gamble
A game that I will eventually win if I play
And if I find love or if love finds me
yet again
I hope love is here to stay not a phase or a quick lay
But a love that is
L for Love
O for Obviously
V for a little bit voluptuous
and
E for everlasting

My poetry is Rhythm, Feelings, and Emotions and if I include love into my poetry
Does that make my poetry Oral Sex?
Can I lay you down with my poetry and kiss your shoulders with a whisper?
Tell you you’re beautiful in more than 5 stanzas
A poetic tantra to induce a climaxing flowing river through your body
Because baby sweet nothings
are nothing
I’ve only just begun
First I start with your mind
Sharing words that entice your fantasies
Asking your self can it be?
Don’t stress love
It’s only Poetry
My version of Oral Sex
The greatest lover you ever met
Touching you metaphysically
Making you wet
Not your body first
But your heart I caress
No need to undress
As I address
How you make me feel
I want to interlock every word I conceptualize
Allowing my imagination to consume you
Until you and only you realize I have the key to your secret garden
My poetry is starting to harden
I apologize for being blunt and pardon my bold letters and linguistics
I tend to get caught up with word play
Poetic Intercourse
In a room full of strangers
With the spotlight
On you
While I use soliloquies
To surrender you into feeling my every word with soothing commas and intimate punctuations
The collective of expressions I lust to voice are a litigation of words
Battling for supreme rights into your heart, body, mind, and soul
As my lips try to reach the inside of yours from a distance
Titalize with the tip of an adjective
I’ll speak soft and slow if you are sensitive
And I tend to speak with my hands
So hold onto my words
As my fingers do the talking
Expressing what I’m truly wanting
Because when I put two nouns into a poem to create a verb
Breathe slowly and take it in
It’s only poetry
My version of Oral Sex
